The discovery: Other finds
The site produced the usual range of finds from a Romano-British
dwelling. Besides the building debris of stone and tiles and some
wall plaster (some painted); pottery was found, some fine vessel
glass fragments and a total of three bronze coins. The sparceness
of the artifacts reflects the lack of invasive excavation, and that
the rubbish deposits from the villa, in surrounding pits and ditches
were not found.
